I got this 10' satellite dish for free, it's an aluminum dish, I just have to take the paint off and polish' it, this is a big saving, no mirror to buy, yeah
Here's my son grinding the dish with a wire brush but I find an 80 grit sand paper on the grinder goes faster.
This is after one hour of grinding, not too bad.
I almost did half of the satellite and I burnt my grinder #@!@#$, I only paid $20 for the grinder- time for a new one.

After taking the paint off, I wanted to know if it works. This is the result with the paint off.
I finally gave up trying to polish the dish - i caved and bought Mylar and glue it on with 3M Super 77.
This is with the Mylar, it is so hot that the piece of wood caught on fire in just under 5 sec it was unbelievable.
